The Center Consolidated School District (CCSD) Board of Education (BOE) accepted Richard Barela's resignation at the June 26, 2024, Special Board Meeting.
Following state law, the Board declares a vacancy in this school director's office that will be filled by appointment by the Board within 60 days.

To be eligible for appointment, a candidate must be a registered elector of the school district for at least 12 consecutive months and a district resident.
